Welcome to the CMC

The CMC IT team is proud to announce the launch of the new online presence for the Boys & Girls Club of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth, BGCGrandRapids.org. Their previous site had become old and hard to manage, and didn't give the right message about the group. When they came to the CMC they said they needed something that would appeal to kids, but still looked professional for their parents. They reported that the whole site exceeded their expectations.

Some highlights of the site include:

• The new design including WebFont technology to use custom fonts throughout the site
• The client's ability to update nearly all content on the site through our custom content management system
• An interactive history time line
• A large program system which can integrate with numerous other portions of the site to display events, Flickr photos, or items in the wish list
• An online membership form, split into sections for easy navigation, and the ability to translate it between English and Spanish.
• Custom integration with MailChimp, an email marketing and email list management service provider, to automatically create newsletter sign-up forms.
