For over 25 years the Community Media Center has acquired and maintained technology tools, media services and community venues to benefit the Grand Rapids community. Explore this site to discover how CMC's television, radio, IT, education and live theatre resources are here to help you.
The CMC recently worked with Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) to deploy a new server running Windows 2003 Small Business Server. GROW's existing server was over 5 years old, running Windows NT 4.0 Server and was dangerously low on disk space. This much needed upgrade gives them alot more disk space including redundant hard drives, an integrated e-mail solution and the ability for staff to easily share their contacts and calendars with each other.
