Welcome to the CMC

For over 25 years the Community Media Center has acquired and maintained technology tools, media services and community venues to benefit the Grand Rapids community. Explore this site to discover how CMC's television, radio, IT, education and live theatre resources are here to help you.

Downtown in the Palm of Your Hand

During the fall of 2010 the CMC IT team continued its strong relationship with the Downtown Alliance and created the DowntownGR Mobile website. Looking for someplace to eat, choose your desired cuisine and let your phone give you a list of those restaurants, or show them on a map, even get walking directions from your location straight to the restaurant.

Visit DowntownGR.org on your mobile phone to check it out, or use your barcode scanner on the qr code to the right to be directed there.
