Meet Denise, our new Citizen Journalism Coordinator!

Denise Cheng is a West Coast native from Silicon Valley who left her heart in Portland, Ore. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a B. Phil in Global and Cultural Journalism and has been closely following the citizen journalism movement since early 2006.

Denise was an editorial intern for In These Times (a progressive magazine out of Chicago), reported for The Oxford Press, and did development work in Lesotho as a Peace Corps volunteer. Prior to coming to Grand Rapids, Denise developed social media programs at

Effective September 1st, 2009, CMC will be moving all of our DNS services to Dotster, our domain name registrar.  For clients that have CMC manage their domain name(s), your DNS services will be transfered to Dotster by us and will require no intervention from you.  

For clients that have registered their own domains and have pointed the DNS servers for those domains to CMC's DNS servers ( and, you will have to move your DNS records to another DNS provider.  In most cases, the registrar that you registered your...
