About the Equipment
Small cameras: 3 Sony DCR- TRV17, 2 Sony handicams,
MOLLIE has 6 Sony DCR-TRV17's for smaller hands. All of them have firewire cables for direct hookup to the computers and editing software. They also have memory sticks for capturing still images for website publication.
MOllie currently has(as of Feb.2007)3 of the original TRV-17's and 2 Sony handycams(purchased 2005), no memory sticks.
Large cameras: Sony VX-2000
MOLLIE has 6 Sony VX-2000's for larger hands. All of them have firewire cables for direct hookup to the computers and editing software. They also have memory sticks for capturing still images for website publication.
MOllie currently has (as of feb. 2007) 6 ofthe original Sony VX 2000's, two of the camers have problems with digitizing and auto focus. No memory sticks
Apple iBooks
MOLLIE has 20 Apple iBooks and also a scanner and a printer. These laptop computers are perfect for hands-on experience. They are connected to a wireless network so they are easy to set up and use anywhere. With the digital camcorders and a single firewire cable, these computers become an easy to use video edit station that features Apple's iMovie software.
Mollie currently has (as of Feb. 2007) 18 of the original ibooks with 5gig of memory space available for video projects, none have working batteries, several are missing a power supply or case, many have frequent problems such as: fading/black screen, malfunctioning jacks & mouse pads, crashing when saving, low speaker volume, slow boot up, missing keys, strong odor of melting plastic(keys).
LunchBox Sync Systems
MoLLIE has 4 LunchBox Sync systems. The LunchBox Sync is an animation frame grabber capable of recording individual frames or full motion videoand audio, and playing them back, full screen to create stop-motion animation projects.
