Wealthy Theatre would have be nothing without the heroic actions of the South East Economic Development (SEED) organization. Literally: the SEED organizers saved the theatre from the wrecking ball. What would the property be now, if the theatre had been demolished? A Wal-Mart? Shudder to think. Better simply to say "thank-you" to the folks who organized the movement, and saved the Wealthy Theatre District, in the 1990s. The CMC IT Team is proud to announce the launch of www.CAYF.org the new web presence for the Coleman A. Young Foundation of Detroit. The site not only helps communicate their organization and their great work with students from Detroit, it also helps streamline their work.
