Presented in "round robin" fashion, 2 sets of 5 songwriters will play one NEW and one TRADITIONAL song for the Winter Holiday season. As a part of the songwriting assignment each Artist has been asked to convey movement and energy; to add uplift for these difficult times.
This year AWT also will have one seat in the circle filled by a songwriter selected by popular choice. Five songs will be selected from all entries by a panel of peers from past AWT performances. Voters who register at AWintersTune.com will be able to listen to and choose their favorite song. The popular choice winner will PERFORM with selected artists ON THE SHOW!
All entry guidelines are posted at AWintersTune.com - deadline for submissions is Sunday, November 8, 2009 at midnight.
The AWT Concert will benefit community radio station WYCE 88.1 FM. A Silent Auction of donated items will also be part of the fund raising.
CD's by present and past artists will be available for immediate cash purchase and a voucher will be available to purchase a DVD of the show (to be mailed within the following two weeks).
Selected songs from past "A Winter's Tune" shows are available now, with more to be added, at Octoberday.com. A portion of all AWT downloads will be donated to WYCE as well.

Members of the Community Media Center will also be able to purchase beer, wine and mixed drinks at the concession stand during the show and intermission.
