Super Happy Funtime Burlesque, a vaudeville-style variety show featuring dancers, comedians, backed by the fabulous End Times Orchestra, at Wealthy Theatre.

Our show was formed 6 years ago by Corey Ruffin, Rachel Finan, Josh Dunigan, and Steven DePolo out of the ashes of our other burlesque show, Dr Toledo's Amazing Magical Elixer Traveling Medicine Show, which ran for about 2 years. We started performing at the Sazerac Lounge on Sunday nights, two years later moved to the Wealthy Theatre, two years after that started performing all over the state of Michigan. We currently put on about 24 shows a year all over Michigan. We play Traverse City, Detroit, St Joseph, Chicago, Three Oaks, Three Rivers, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Holland, and Muskegon. We are a 6 piece band, 12 member cast, and 5 member crew. There is no show like ours in the country, we are entirely unique and that is a fact! In August we take on an unprecedented act, we will attempt to take this 20+ member show on the road and play shows in theaters and bars from here to California and back. We are probably one of the few DIY works of musical theater in the country that is attempting something of this magnitude.

The $25 ticket is ten dollars more than our normal ticket price (its usually 15) but we think people believe in us enough to understand why we are charging more. If someone can't make it to the show they get all sorts of other things to choose from; hand made pasties, a tshirt, or autographed CDs and DVDs.

Help us keep this show going, entertaining, and giving unique and amazing artists an outlet and audiences an alternative to the status quo.

Please note:  The Wealthy Theatre has a CLUB LIQUOR LICENSE, which means only members are allowed bar privileges! If you would like bar privileges when you come to a SuperHappyFuntime Burlesque show, we recommend joining as a member prior to the evening, and it's EASY to do online...we can also sign you up the night of the event!!
