MY KID ROCKS! Photo Contest!

Oct. 22 through Nov. 4

We're accepting photos through Nov. 4, 2010, as part of the MY KID ROCKS! contest - your family could win tickets to "The Candy Band" at Wealthy Theatre Nov. 6, and lunch afterward at Brick Road Pizza!  

Upload a photo of your punk rock kid to this Flickr Group, using only a first name please, and we'll have the mother punkers from The Candy Band pick two winners on Nov. 4 - each family gets four tickets to the Nov. 6 "The Candy Band" show, and a gift certificate to Brick Road Pizza!

"The Candy Band" appear Nov. 6 at 11am at Wealthy Theatre as part of the for-families series, "WonderFall: You Know, For The Kids!" Previous WonderFall concerts have included Justin Roberts & The Not Ready For Naptime Players (10/23/10) and coming up we have "Wizard Of Oz - Sing A Long Version" on Nov. 20.

The "MY KID ROCKS!" contest is limited to children under 13 years of age. Photos must be submitted by the child's parent or legal guardian. Images will not be altered or sold and remain the property of the family. This contest is free to all.

We'll create a slideshow on a Wealthy Theatre blog of all our rockin' kids as the weeks go by - please join us for a great show on Nov. 6 with Michigan rockers The Candy Band!  Your family will have fun hearing songs you may have grown up with, and your kids will dance and have a lot of fun in the safe, comfy Peter Wege Auditorium at Wealthy Theatre.
