Fes2val:  A Celebration of the 2-Piece Band

It only takes 2!  With 16 bands spanning every genre, Fes2val looks to prove that bands with only 2 members are not only adequate without needing 2 or 3 more musicians, but superior in the way that they can create such an amazing sound from just a pair.  Come witness the spectacle that is the 2-piece band, with beer & food onsite!  This is an outdoor festival, but in case of rain, can be moved inside the historic Wealthy Theatre.  All proceeds benefit the Wealthy Theatre Centennial Campaign. 

Fes2val was started in 2008 by Derek Lancioni & Rafael Ohli (of Charles the Osprey), and has featured bands from Chicago, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and all around Michigan paying tribute to the spirit of the 2-piece band.  After being kicked off the Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids, moving to the Gillette Bridge in 2009, and taking 2010 off to focus on their debut full-length record, CTO is back with the 3rd Fes2val, and stronger than ever, having paired up with the historic, lovely and community-supported Wealthy Theatre!
