The Queeries: Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Queeries film series premieres Friday (7pm door) at Wealthy Theatre, with “Hedwig & The Angry Inch.” Theatre Director Erin Wilson said it’s the first time a movie has had advance sales. “Of course,” Wilson added, “this is much more than just a movie.”

Town Hall Meeting: Meet the 2nd Ward Candidates
A Town Hall Meeting is planned for Monday, March 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wealthy Theatre (1130 Wealthy St SE). The community will be able to meet the final candidates for the Second Ward City Commission seat and participate in a panel discussion facilitated by Steve Faber. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback, which will be gathered at the end of the night, summarized and then shared with the Commission.

Oscar Shorts

We're excited to announce a March 24 screening of the 2010 Oscar Shorts at Wealthy Theatre, made possible by Grand Valley State University (GVSU) School of Communication, the West Michigan Film & Video Alliance (WMFVA) and Community Media Center (CMC).
The ANIMATION program (92mins) begins at 6:30pm. The LIVE ACTION program (97mins) begins at 8:30pm. Tickets are $4 in advance for CMC Members, WMFVA Members and Students. General admission is $6 in advance, or $8 at the door (day-of event).
