Email Accounts

The Community Media Center can provide your non-profit organization with email addresses using your own domain name. Using your own domain name makes it easier for people to remember your email address and helps to promote your website. All email accounts can be accessed using any POP3 email client such as Microsoft Outlook or via the web with our easy to use secure webmail interface located at https://mail.grcmc.org. The webmail interface can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection and a web browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer. Unlike most email providers, our email accounts have no set quotas and we provide secure POP3, SMTP and HTTP access to our mail server at no additional cost. Virus scanning and spam filtering sofware are installed to make checking your email an enjoyable experience.

Mailing Lists

A mailing list is a way to distribute information to a large (or small) group of people and allows users to "subscribe" to the list and receive email that is distributed to everyone on the list. Mailing lists can be setup as open, closed, subscriber only, moderated or unmoderated. Mailing lists are allowed unlimited messages and users. The list owner has full control over the mailing list by sending commands to the mailing list via email.
