CMC Created Website Wins Award

The CMC is proud to join the Battle Creek Community Foundation in celebrating their website receiving the Excellence Award in the Website Tactics section of the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America PACE awards.

The PACE Awards are mid-Michigan's highest honor of public relations activities and are awarded annually to practitioners who, in the judgment of their (out-of-state) peers, have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness.

The New History Grand Rapids

The CMC IT Team is happy to announce the launch of the all new HistoryGrandRapids.org, the online archive of the Grand Rapids Historical Commission. A long time client, and partner on other projects, the Commission decided it was time to update the site we had built for them years ago, and update we did. Everything from the design all the way down to the database has been changed.

The CMC IT Team is proud to announce the launch of the new and improved website for long time client Michigan Association of Foster Grandparent & Senior Companion Programs, or MAFGSCP. The site is not only a new design, but also included numerous security enhancements which allowed us to further increase the functionality for the client and their member organizations.

GR's Got Talent Text-to-Vote

GR's Got Talent Text-to-Vote

The CMC IT team recently worked with the Arena District to provide voting via text message at the finale of GR's Got Talent, a brand-new, multi-day talent competition that seeks to find and showcase the best performers in West Michigan.

Using a service called Twilio, we were able to have attendees at the show send a simple text message with an act's name and the website was able to keep track of all of the votes. We also decided to keep people from voting for the same act more than once, but still allow them to vote for other acts....

Laughfest Chicken Dinners

The CMC IT Team is proud to announce the new micro-site for Laughfest Chicken Dinners. This new event combines the rubber chicken, a symbol for LaughFest after setting a Guiness World Record for most rubber chickens tossed at once to kick off last years event, and the fine dining available in the downtown area. Select restaurants will be donating one or two dollars of every speciality chicken dish to Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids to help children, adults, families and friends as they find their smile and laughter in the midst of a cancer...
