building community through media
WYCE's on-air programming staff is made up of a group of nearly 100 volunteers. Occasionally, we offer a training class to bring new programmers into that group. Currently, we are not seeking new programmers.
However, there are other ways to get involved with WYCE. We can always use volunteers during our on-air fund drives, each spring and fall. We also have other volunteer needs, from carpentry to legal assistance. We are also ALWAYS on the lookout for reliable, dependable Music Reviewers. If you can commit a minimum of five hours each week to listening to new music, reviewing it for style and potential FCC problems (i.e. obscenity), and preparing short written reviews, we need you!
Click the "volunteer" tab above if you're interested, available and willing to make a commitment to helping us in any of these ways. You'll see a list of current volunteer jobs that we need your help to fill.
