Show module: Worst Gig Ever

Length: Between 3-5 minutes

Objectives:

To give WYCE listeners a glimpse into the humorous side of live musical performances gone sour.

Content:

Each submission should contain the following, but is not limited to:

• The name of the artist(s). In the case of a band - introductions of individual members should be made.
• A description of the artist(s)' musical style, assuming that the audience is just learning about the artist for the first time.
• A comedic narration of the artists' or band's "worst gig ever."
• The submitted module will end with a track (chosen by the artist or band) from one of the artist's/band's recently released albums. You may want to say something like the following: "Now that you've had a glimpse into what our worst gig ever was like, here's what we were hoping to sound like..."

Other things to consider including:

• If possible, an actual recording of the "worst gig"
• Reactions from the audience, as well as band members (Were you boo…ed off the stage?)
• How did you recover - did it take long?
