LiveWire Channel 24 is a public service, access channel that features LIVE specials and long-form programming, including commercial-free satellite downlinks.

LiveWire does not accept program submissions from individuals. All of the programming is requested by local groups and non-profit organizations. Any Application for Cablecast must come from a local group or non-profit organization. Click here to download a LiveWire Cablecast Application

• Democracy Now!

  Democracy Now! is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 350 stations in North America. Democracy Now!'s War and Peace Report provides our audience with access to people and perspectives rarely heard in the U.S.corporate-sponsored media, including independent and international journalists, ordinary people from around the world who are directly affected by U.S. foreign policy, grassroots leaders and peace activists, artists, academics and independent analysts. In addition, the War and Peace Report hosts real debates - debates between people who substantially disagree, such as between the White House or the Pentagon spokespeople on the one hand, and grassroots activists on the other. The program is hosted by award-winning journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez and produced out of the Downtown Community Television Center, a community media center in New York City’s Chinatown.

• Classic Arts Showcase

  Classic Arts Showcase is a free cable television program designed to bring the classic arts experience to the largest audience possible by providing video clips of the arts in hopes that we may tempt you, the viewer, to go out and feast from the buffet of arts available in your community. The spectrum of classic arts disciplines aired on Classic Arts Showcase includes video samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, museum art, musical theater, opera, orchestral, recital, solo instrumental. solo vocal, and theatrical performances, as well as classic film and archival documentaries.

• NASA TV

  The network airs a large amount of educational programming, and provides live coverage of an array of manned missions, including the Space Shuttle and ISS, robotic missions, and international launches.

• UCTV

  UCTV embraces the core missions of the University of California – teaching, research, and public service -- through quality, in-depth television that brings to life the tremendous range of knowledge, culture and dialogue generated on UC’s diverse campuses.
